Bottom Taskbar gone in IE

I am not sure what has happened, but I no longer have a taskbar at the
bottom of my page when viewing the internet. I keep having to minimize
window in order to start a new program or application. Any help is greatly
appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
Hi,
Is the IE window covering up the taskbar? Right-click an empty area of the
taskbar, choose Properties and put a check by "Always on Top."

If that's not the fix, post back to this thread.

In order to do what Don suggests you may have to first press Ctrl-Esc
or press a Win- key (which might be all the solution you want.) <eg>
