So I get here and read about HAVING to assign passwords to both machines(2 XP's here running on a lan), so I do this and I still can't connect either one from either one Get this
"The system could not log you on.Make sure your user name and domain are correct, then type your password again. Letters in passwords must be typed using the correct case.
I've triple checked and I'm inputting the password correctl

So still stumped here...

Want to mention that I have no Firewalls (3rd party or WindowsXP FW
running), I tried telnetting port 3389, on both machines (both running
"pro") both say the same thing: Could not oopen connection to the host on
port 3389:Connect failed
under RD's settings on "Computer"/Browse for more all that shows is
WORKGROUP and if I klik on the + sign next to it, I get a windows with "The
WORKGROUP domain/workgroup does not contain any Terminal servers"
