Thanks to Andy W. for his comments on this problem. Unfortunately he did not
have all of the data needed for my problem. So here it is again with more
information.

On login with one specific user, I get a "Logo Graphic Screen" that appears
after the logon prompt and when I got to restart or reboot or close this
particular user I get the same screen. I am trying to get rid of this
screen, but do not know where to look. I have narrowed my search down to the
user profile section, because when I log on/off as a guest the logo, the
graphic does not show up.

Andy W. or anyone; do you have any ideas as to where I can start looking in
the user profile section get rid of this graphic screen? Or, what files I
can remove without harming the other things on my system as this user is the
one I need for running alot of the programs.

thanks again...there is very good info here and I'm learning...

I believe this has something to with active desktop, the jpg wallpaper is
being replaced with .bmp wallpaper used previously, try changing your
wallpaper on active desktop and that should solve your problem.

Andy, This graphic comes up before my active desktop wallpaper graphic and
then replaces the desktop wallpaper graphic when I logoff. Any other ideas?
I'm open to them or am I not understanding what you are saying. Like
"active desktop" to me means going to desktop properties and changing the
desktop graphic....is this what you mean? That does not solve the
problem...?

My reply is at the bottom of your message.

Try looking here:
1.. Open the Control Panel.
2.. Open Display Properties.
3.. Click the Desktop tab.
4.. Click the Customize Desktop button.
5.. Click the Web tab in the Desktop Items window.
Make sure that all of the check boxes are unchecked.

Also you could try setting your background to None, rebooting, and putting
up your wallpaper again.

Melinda

By active desktop I mean what Melinda has pointed out, follow Melinda's steps
and let us know how you get on.

Thanks to Melinda and Andy for their help. I removed my current desktop
graphic and set display to "NONE" - I rebooted and success - the older
graphic is gone. I now have the graphic that I want on my desktop - Thanks
you, Melinda and Andy for your help...I'm learning. :)
