I am in need of some major advice. I was running xp when it popped up a
message stating that it was unable to write to the c drive and to run
chkdsk. I shut all my applications down (some errored) and rebooted.
During bootup (before any windows screen or anything) it stated that it was
unable to access the drive (can't remember the exact message). I then
booted from the cd into the recovery console, however it did not ask for a
login and went straight to c. Tried to do a dir and it errored. I then ran
chkdsk /f on c and after it completed, dir ran but only showed bootex.log
and found.000. When I rebooted, the message was now unable to load ntldr.
System Info:
P4 1.9
120G partitioned as C and D
40G E Drive
60G H Drive (on a PCI IDE Controller Card)
PLEASE help!
Thanks in advance,
Jack
