I have just built my first PC, Installed Vista 64 bit, and it runs fine. I
wanted to retain my old hard drive with XP and all my old programes and
files. I new I would have a problem as XP was an OEM version installed by
Mesh. I purchased a new copy of XP, backed up all the files and formatted the
drive. When I try to boot up to the old drive, which has been renamed F/ I
get the message "BOOTMGR is missing press ctrl alt del to continue" I have
tried booting with both the XP and Vista discs in the dvd drive still the
same message. Please help as I haven't got much hair left to pull out.
