my computer will shut down radomly during booting or right after I log in. I used pc-doctor to scan my hardwares and no problem is identified. so i wonder if it's software's issues. do you know what tools i can use to identify what file is corrupted or missing? or do you know how can i restore the default docutments/ settings without reinstalling the whole win2000

thank yo

1.) Check Event Viewer and Device Manager for errors and or non-starting
devices.
2. While logged on as another user with local administrative rights you can
delete the user profile. Then the next time the user logs on a new profile
will be created from an image in \default user
