Hi!

I'm trying to install w2k pro unattended.
the recent hardware I'm using here is based on the intel 865chipset.
my problem:
I'm trying to perform an unattended installation of windows2000.
The HD where the system should be installed is attached and set to secondary
master.
The installation is working fine up to the point where the system reboots
and should go on in GUImode.
Here the system keeps rebooting nonstop without displaying any error message

what could that be?

thank you

Sounds like it doesn't like your video drivers/card!

Does it blink before it reboots?? if so then it's the
video card.

also the rebooting maybe due to a setting of reboot on
error.

See if it will boot in safe mode, try f8

Hi there!

Thanks for your support.

I think the Problem is the SATAcontroller, because the SATA is Controller 0
und primary IDE is Controller 1.
all prior systems had so SATA integrated - so the primary IDE was Controller
0.

I think the problem resides there - but I don't know how to solve it
