A little more info please. Like how far does the system get into the boot
sequence, does it make it beyond the POST, is there any screen flickers,
what OS, etc.

and did you think it might be a power supply problem?

Might be, but so many things can look like a power supply problem, it is
nice to be able to narrow it down if at all possible. (Hardware or
Software). Granted a PSU will cause random errors at any given time, it
is doubtful that it will cause the exact same issue each time you start
it. Sometimes it may get into the OS, sometimes not, etc, etc. If it is
completely random, I would say check the PSU, if it is fairly steady in
the same place, I would start elsewhere.

Hello,
For your infro, I am running on celeron 900Mhz, 20gbyte HDD,128mbyte SDRAM
and OS win xp. The problem normally occured during windows starting up (The
white bar) the system trip and reboot. No screen flickers during post. When
I bootup from win98 bootup diskette to the C promt the system does not
rebooting.

Thank

Sounds like a software problem in XP. If it always reboots at the same point
I would suspect software - a new driver, game or application? Downloaded
something that might contain a nasty lately? If the computer reboots
randomly, then overheating or a faulty component would be most likely.
