My compter begins to boot and when it get's to "Load personal settings" it just goes idle. When I press CONT-ALT-DEL the desktop comes up but only then does it start loading startup programs.
I also get a paging error during bootup (virtual memory). No matter what settings I change or customize in my configuation it still does not correct the problem

HELP

Hi Paul,

Create another user account, do you have the same problems?

You can download bootvis, which will tell you what programs are
running on boot up.
http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/BTV/1.0/WXP/EN-US/bootVis-tool.exe
(Warning, you must turn off the option 'tracing' once you've finished
the troubleshooting)
