Booting from CD/Disks

I am locked out of my Windows 2K. I don't have
administrator or user password.

How do I get my laptop to boot from the CD and/or the
setup disks?

Go into BIOS and change the boot order, to Floppy, CD,
then HDD. Which ever you want the system to look first
for an OS to load.

Thanks but how do I get into the BIOS? Do I hold down a
particular key during boot?

That depends on the make of *your* bios/computer. On power on you get
usually a short message.
Try [F2], [DEL] or [INS]- key.
