My WinXP Home +SP3 will not boot from an .ISO CD.
I have tried with two different discs which always loaded under SP2
How can I overcome this problem? TIA,

Jim.

The ISO file is an image of the CD. If you burned it as a file to your CD media,
nothing will happen.....all you have is a data CD. You must burn the ISO file
using a software feature that will burn or write the image to the CD media.

If using Nero ROM look for "Burn Image" or "Burn image to disc" in the menu.

If you have ISO Recorder installed, right click on the ISO file and select Open
with > ISO Recorder, then follow the prompts.

If you did burn the CD correctly then the ISO file it was created from was not
created correctly or it was not bootable to begin with.
