Ok here is a dumb question. I need to make a floppy boot
disk. In the old days I would have use the DOS command
Format A: with the /S switch or the systems command.

Does anyone know how to do the same thing in WIN 200 pro?

thanks!

You can't. The Windows 2000 operating system is too large to fit on a
floppy, so what you are asking is not possible.

If you need a floppy that boots MS-DOS, you can run the above command on a
Windows 98 machine, or visit www.bootdisk.com.

or use xp (or 2k?)
my computer - drive a: - format - and check the "Create an MS-DOS startup
disk" box
