How do you change the graphic in the initial boot up
window? I have deleted the graphic from my computer, but
it still shows up when I boot the computer.
 
Windows does not provide this as an option. There are third-party apps and
procedures to change the screen but this is not supported (as it involves
changing some critical system files).
 
This is interesting, as some how my husband got a picture
that he had on his harddrive installed to come up on the
first boot screen. Even tho I found the picture and
deleted it from the hard dirve--it still appears when the
pc is booted.
 
It is in the cache.
