I recently bought I system with Microsoft XP Professional
pre-installed. I already had to take it to a data
specialist to recover my files. I know if I had a copy
of a legit XP version I could restore the system myself

So my question is that I saw something on the windows
site that would make you have a boot disk with 6 floppy
disk. When windows won't boot, could I use this disk to
make my system boot, or will these disk erase my hard
drive?

Please let me know

Did you not get at least a System Recovery CD with your machine? Did the
vendor not give you ANY CDs at all?

At the very least they are required to give you some means of recovery even
if that is only a recovery partition that, when invoked wipes the current
system drive and reinstalls XP. That is a part of their OEM agreement. If
nothing was provided, not even a recovery partition, I think you need to
contact them

The floppies to which your refer are designed to help users whose system
cannot boot from the CD-ROM drive the ability to setup XP. They offer no
recovery tools such as those that exist on an XP CD.

Just to add about floppy disks in general. For the purpose that you
describe, you actually would only need a Windows 9x boot floppy, however, if
your partitions are formatted NTFS as opposed to FAT32, neither a Windows 9x
floppy nor the floppy disks about which you question could give you access
to your data as floppy disks use a FAT format and cannot see an NTFS
partition.
