Confused

I recently added new memory to my laptop, and ever since
then I have ahd problems booting up.

When I turn on my machine, it starts to boot up but then
stalls. I have to select ctrl+alt+delete a few times and
then Windows finally starts up.

Any ideas why this is happening ?

If you take the RAM out does the machine boot normally again? If so - it may
be the wrong type of RAM for the machine. If the machine does NOT boot even
though the RAM is removed, it's possible that something may have shorted out
or been bumped when the RAM was installed. If that's the case you may want
to seek a local shop that can inspect the machine for damage.
