Seems I was playing an on-line microsoft game (combat flight simulator 3) when my computer suddenly froze during a game. Nothing worked for me to get it going again. I was reduced to holding in the start button to restart the computer. I am running a Medion 9322c p4 2.2 w/512mb mem, that has been an operating beauty for me until now. Upon restarting the computer it now takes a good five mins to boot up. Before the game, it started up in a jiffy. I have attempted to fix this by using SYSTEM RESTORE but it did not help one bit. I have since uninstalled CBS-3, but the problem remains. I have run my anti-virus software a number of times (it was on at the time I was playing the game - boot sector and file monitoring active) but the problem remains.
I sure would appriciate some helpful hints. Thank you in advance.
