Question: I know there is an option with in the Win2k sp4
OS to erase all information that was put on by a previous
user. I just want the OS to wipe itself clean after it
is shut down. Can anyone point me in the right
direction.

Situation: 24 lab pc's are used to train users with a
specific software. Users make changes during their class.
I want the pc to be exactly how it was before they
touched it after reboot. It takes me hours to reimage all
these machines and I need to eliminate this step in my
work week.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Knowledge Base article numbers are welcome!!!

Thank you,

I knew the answer was right under my nose.

Thanks for your input!

Joe

your solution is mandatory profile
or may be group policy.

madatory profile doesnt save any change.
so redirecting most of the user based data to server
(profile, Start, Documents - by using GP) is good for class rooms PC

try this
http://search.microsoft.com/search/results.aspx?view=en-
us&st=b&na=82&qu=mandatory+profile&s=6
