Have you tried safe mode or last known good configuration by hitting F8 as Vista begins to load? -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com

I have a similar problem with Vista. The only way I can get it back is to unplug and remove the battery. Then when I put the battery back, it will boot.
