I am trying to format my system using my boot-up disc.
A virus attacked my computer and has prevented me from even booting up in safe-mode.
Anywho, when I put in the disc and restart the PC, I go into recovery mode (F11), and choose to bootup from disc.
It then processes as if it is going into recovery mode, the system then shuts down and I get the Stop: C000021a error message (fatal system error). I have tried this numerous times. I've tried safe-mode (doesn't work), F8 F10 F2 F11, none of it works.
Is there a way to format the PC in dos? The only danger after that is if my bootup disc doesn't work now, there may be a danger of it not working after a system format... Any suggestions?
