Boot to wrong drive

I have two hard drives on my system – 30 GB and 80 GB. I reformatted and loaded XP – Home on the 30 GB drive and left ME on the 80 GB drive. I now want to replace the 30 GB drive with a new 160 GB drive. My plan was to remove the 80 GB drive and install the 160. I would then use the utility that comes with the Western Digital Drive to move the operating system and all the file from the 30 to the 160. I would then remove the 30 and have the 160 and the 80. Unfortunately, I cannot boot from the 30 GB dive. The error I get is the disk not found error when the system first boots up. It then tried to access the floppy and CD Rom drive. Apparently, the boot information is on the 80 GB drive although XP is on the 30 GB drive. Is there an easy way to make the 30 GB drive bootable without loosing the contents of the drive

Thanks

Frank
