how do i rid of boot sector virus with a recently reformatted hard drive.
something that will fit in a floppy. please direct me to a site where i can
download a fix. thanks!

Sure it can.

It writes zeros to the entire drive.

Or, am I wrong? I won't rule that possibility out....

Care to elaborate, so we all can learn?

It may not be a virus, check your bios to see if the boot sector virus is
enabled. I was getting this problem when I first built my system and this
fixed it.
