I just upgraded fron NT 4 to 2000 server. The NT had the
small boot partition on c and the large partition on D.
Is there any way I can expand the boot partition to cover
both partitions? (one large c partition)
I don't want to kill the partitions and start over
with a fresh install if I don't have to.

Thanks

It would probably be a lot easier for you (I assume you're talking about
one hard disk here) to get and install a 2nd drive, copy D: to it, use
Disk Administrator to make sure the new D: partition is actually named
D:, run the system and make sure everything works correctly, and then
use ServerMagic or a similar tool to expand the C: partition into the
space occupied by the old D: (which would now be G: or something else.)

Not only is it a very bad idea to put the system and everything else in
one partition (all eggs in one basket) but if you do what you suggest
you want to do you'll have to reset all the installed program linkages
in shortcuts, the registry, and everywhere else to refer to C: instead
of D:, and that will be a horrendous job.
