I am unable to clear the "OS Choices" menu when starting
Windows 2000. I only have one Windows 2000 installed on
one hard drive drive C: And the OS chooser menu says I
have three installed. It is problematic to have to choose
with OS i want too boot, when I only have one installed.
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Once you've booted into your OS, you can edit the boot.ini file at the root
of c: to remove the other options.
This is probably a sign that someone tried to install multiple operating
systems on your machine. If you didn't do it then someone else with
physical access probably did. (I haven't heard of any worms or viruses that
corrupt the boot.ini with extra entries.)

Here's a boot.ini-editing KB:
