Boot Disks

Hi,

I am trying to install Windows XP onto my Windows 2000 machine. I am unable
to boot from my CDROM so i have created the boot disks from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...FamilyID=55820EDB-5039-4955-BCB7-4FED408EA73F.
However, hen i try to boot with these i get a DISK I/O Error... Any ideas?

Does the floppy drive light come on? If not, open the case and check the
wires going to the floppy drive. Make sure the floppy drive a: is appearing
in the BIOS.
I downloaded the files and made the "6- Start-up disks" from Microsoft.,
They work fine for starup on my machine.
