Hi I have been told that if I use a win 98 boot disk that I will not be able
to access a NTSF file system on a windows xp computer. The reason I ask is
that a friend has a file they cannot delete from windows xp and I was going
to take a windows 98 disk when I went to visit. If this is true what can I
put on a floppy that will boot and let me access a NTFS formated hard disk
drive.

A FAT32 boot disk (win98 boot disk) will not be able to
read a NTFS partition. Have they tried deleting the file
from the command line?
