Hi,

My XP Pro (SP2), with current updates, has been behaving normally until
yesterday when it booted to the desktop with icons and taskbar, but then
immediately switched by itself to "C:\Program Files\Dell," a folder
which contains drivers, printer software, shared DLL's, etc. If I close
this folder, my computer returns to the desktop and everything behaves
normally. I am totally at a loss to explain this problem.

Running Norton Antivirus and Window Washer revealed nothing wrong and
did not change this strange behavior.

Can someone explain what is going on here, and how I might be able to
correct the problem?

Thanks
