Bookmarks disappearihg :-(

Hi :-)

Every time I plug my still photo digicam into my WinXP Pro laptop, I put a
bookmark in Windows/Internet Explorer to the folder on the 120M Superdisc
that photos are saved to. Every time I go to do it again, the bookmark isn't
there. Why does it keep dissappearing? How do I stop it from doing that?

I'd try using FileMon (freeware from SysInternals).
E.g. monitor the problem file name exclusively
to find out when the changes are occurring and probably
more importantly the name of the program which is doing it.

One guess would be that the existence of the link
depends on the existence of the folder.
E.g. does the link disappear when you "unplug" the device?
Be sure to be watching the monitor when you test that case.

However, you might provide more detail for your symptom description.
In particular the impression I'm getting (vaguely) is that another valid
interpretation would involve the possibility that you have moved your
Favorites folder from inside %USERPROFILE% to somewhere else.
Please clarify.
