Hi-
I am semi-new to Frontpage. I know the very basics and know very little
html. Does anyone have a user-friendly Frontpage book recommendation?

Thanks- I am glad I found this board- I am already learning a lot from
reading all of the posts!

My favorite (bought when I was a complete newbie) is "MS Office FrontPage
2003 Inside/Out" by Jim Buyens - there are also versions of this book for
earlier versions of FrontPage. I found this simple and easy to read - simple
to follow.

Sorry about the name - my bad.

Depending on what version of FrontPage you have, here's some not well
advertised help files that are already on your machine.

Using windows explorer browse to:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICExx\1033
with xx being 10 for FrontPage 2002 and 11 for FrontPage 2003.

Look for the following files:

FPMAIN10.CHM which is a FrontPage help and get started file

HTMLREF.CHM which is a good HTML, CSS and DHTML reference

JSCRIPT5.CHM which is a good javascript reference.

Double clicking the files will open them.

Hint: make shortcuts to them on your desktop

If I had money to invest, I'd invest it in Google. I use it a dozen times a
