Book for ex-programmers

I used to write Fortran and C, and I'm used to programming
books. I want to find a book for FrontPage, but I definitely do
not want the books for dummies, as their orientation usually
does not suit me. I really like the Oreilly books, especially the
ones with examples after the definition. Unfortunately, Oreilly
does not publish a FrontPage book. Any suggestions?

The 2003 edition is coming out in two weeks. Even though I plan
to use FP 2002 for a while, is the 2003 edition worth waiting for
or would it just confuse me with the different features?

FWIW, I think FP2003 is going to be a very compelling upgrade for Web
programmers and for experienced designers. Here are some of the new
features:
- Pasting into Code view works the way you want it to. No more
pasting into Notepad, copying, and then pasting into FrontPage.
- Rollover buttons are a snap to create.
- A Quick Tag Selector bar makes it easy to select
tables-within-tables and other precise content.
- Design view can now display rulers and grids graduated in pixels or
various other measurements.
- The Preview In Browser command can now launch multiple browsers.
- Better looking toolbar buttons.

Those features alone have me reaching for my wallet... and I guess it would
be a good idea of breaking with my tradition of only reading books that were
written for versions at least one or two generations older than the one I'm
using! (Believe it not, I learned WordStar for DOS by reading a WordStar for
CSM book! And for you kids... there was no such thing as online help in
those days.)
 
Don't you mean CPM instead of CSM?
