Bold Text in Formulas

OK
I have a formula set up in which text is followed by a particular cell value. This is no problem. However, I want the text portion to be in a regular font, but the cell value to be in Bold font. Is this possible? I changed the cell i am referencing to bold, but excel uses regular font when completing the formula. It seems like it should be so simple....

Thanks
Brian

You can't have character formatting in a cell that contains a
formula.

If you're interested, you can use an event macro instead of the
formula, that can also include character formatting. Post back with
your formula if you're interested.

AFAIK you cannot do that with a formula ="aaa"111 but you can with just
values such as aaa111
