Body Disappears when replying

I read KB 842937, and this issue has come up recently. When employees reply
to an E-mail (delivered by the Internal Groupwise connector to Exchange 2003
SP2) the email message is empty. Subject is there etc..but no Body. I blame
Novell ofcourse but I read that others have this issue. The reply is HTML/
and sometime RTF..
 
Have you checked the obvious culprit - Options, Email Options - what choice
shows next to "when replying to a message?" One of the choices is to not
include the original message so the email body would be blank if this choice
was selected.

If you are using Outlook 2003 and Word 2003, and Outlook is set to use Word 2003 to edit email messages, you might try this :

1) load up Word
2) In WORD: Tools, Options, General Tab, Email Options... ( button), General Tab "Html Options" > HTML filtering Options: - Select "none" (keep all formatting information)

That should sort it out.

For me, email body text information was disappearing in certain emails as soon as I hit repy or forward ( and before actually sending them). Changing the HTML filtering options in Word from "Medium" to "None" fixed the problem.
