We are in need of having NT running within an XP box.
We have a legitimate NT installation CD.
How can I create an image so that BOCHS will run NT under XP ?
Create a Bochs configuration file with:
- a large enough hard disk image to install NT (look at the NT specs)
- an iso image of the installation CD (or maybe the CD can be mounted?)
Make the Bochs BIOS boot from the CD iso
Install NT on the hard disk image
Eject de CD (unmount the iso) and "reboot" Bochs
You should now boot from the NT disk image...
But remember that you'll need a very fast PC if you want to do anything
useful with it; Bochs emulates everything, so everything runs *very*
slowly, especially a graphical UI like Windows...
And don't forget to read the manual!
