bmp's only :(

Jan

When right clicking on a image, the only option given to
save is bitmap. This is on a computer using XP Home and
IE6.

Any help would be appreciated.

Turn off graphic compression in the AOL client
1.. Go to Preferences in AOL.
2.. Click Internet properties (or WWW in some versions).
3.. Click Web Graphics.
4.. Clear Never compress graphics (or Use compressed graphics in some
versions).
In version 9.0
1. Click Settings on toolbar
2. Click Essentials Tab
3. Click Internet [Web] Options
4. AOL Browser Tab
5. Choose Never Compress Graphics

I have the same problem, out of the blue. Have you tried

web graphics, 'never compress'. in settings, preferences
AOL, it didnt work for me but who knows. Aol help. no
more help suggested reinstalling aol8 or ccontacting
microsoft I will contact my manufacturer, Mesh, as they
supplied oem windows and are therefore responsible for
support. Good luck
