Blurry pictures

Hello. My pictures are showing up really blurry when I preview the photo
slideshow I made in Movie Maker. I read that this is normal but when you show
on the tv it will not be blurry.

Here is my issue: I want to show the slideshow on the tv, but I am not quite
sure what the best way t is to get it to the tv.

Can I just save it as a movie file and then get some kind of cord to hook it
up to the tv? If this is the case, then what is the best way to save it? What
kind of cord do I need? Will the pictures be blurry?

Or do I need to get the slideshow on a dvd? I do not have dvd burner but my
friend does. If this is the correct solution then what is the best way to get
the slideshow on the dvd and still have it show good quality pictures on the
tv?

Long answer...just keep scrolling.....

Video is a complex subject and there are no
cut and dried solutions...to get you started...
try the following.

In Movie Maker...when you complete your project
save it in the .avi format:

To save as an .avi movie file...
(and several other options)
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next /
Show More Choices /
Other Settings /
Open the drop window and choose...DV-AVI /
Next /
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

Now...download the following free program
and install it on a computer that has a DVD
burner. You can use it to create a DVD...

Hi!

Thanks for your help. Since I don't have a dvd a burner and I am going to
have to take the file to my friends computer should I save it to like a blank
cd instead of my computer so I can transfer the file to his computer. If is
this correct, do I still choose the option DV-AVI.

Or should I do it the way you said and then get it to the cd another other
way?

Also, by having to transfer it to a cd and then to dvd, as opposed to just
being able to transfer it straight to a dvd, is this going to affect the
quality?

Personally...I would save it to a folder on
my hard drive first and then copy it to a flash
drive, memory stick or CD for transport to
the friends house. You could even upload
the file to the following site and download
it onto your friend's computer:

"YouSendIt"
http://www.yousendit.com/

All you have to do is enter an e-mail
address in the "To:" (Recipient) field
and click the "Browse" button to select
the file you wish to upload. Then click
the "Send It" button.

The next screen that appears will give
you the download link. Just copy/paste
it into the message to your recipients
who can download and view the file on
their computer.

The quality will be set when you save it...
copying it and moving it to another computer
won't degrade it.

If you are unhappy with the quality of the final
DVD...you might consider using a custom
profile when you save the movie in Movie Maker.
