Blurry images, text ok, in IE7

This isn't in all instances, but didn't occur at all in IE6. More than 50%
of website images (usually jpegs) are now blurry.

What's causing this, and can it be corrected?

The condition you describe is typical of a "high speed dial-up" service.
One way a ISP achieves a faster speed by cutting the quality of the graphics to make it download
faster.
 
Thanks Richard. Think you've put your finger on the problem. I AM stuck
with dialup, and have been using the "accelerator" feature.
