Hi,

to connect to the Internet I'm using ISDN (Germany).
Using a wire to connect is kind of cumbersome, thus I'd like to switch
to wireless.
A solution would be a wireless ISDN set which uses bluetooth as protocol.

What is the radio reception of bluetooth? Does it get a signal through 2
walls?

Thank you,
Chris

How about Wifi router?
Its signal can reach longer distant than bluetooth.

Poor. Or very poor. It's intended for 2 to 10 meters.
Does it get a signal through 2

No. At least: it is not designed to do that.
How about Wifi router?

He may take a look at Fritz! on avm.de.
But ISDN to Wifi routers are scarce, to say the least.

No, bluetooth will not suffice.

You need:
- ISDN modem, like you already have or another depending on
it's output port.

- Wifi Router with built in port interface that can use the
modem. For example, if the modem connects to the system via
serial port, you need a router that has a serial port. They
are rarer these days but do exist. If it has it's own host
device inside the modem and a network (RJ45, for example)
connection, your router needs support that instead, or else
you'll need another device inbetween these two.

- Wifi card in the system to comm with the router.

Unless you are using a laptop system, using a wire to
connect is not cumbersome, it is the least cumbersome. If
it is a laptop, then of course the wifi card would be best
for mobility.
