Bluetooth Serial port error

I recently purchased a bluetooth enabled phone that I would
like to synch to my Dell Lattitude (Win2000). I am using a
USB Bluetooth adapter. I am able to create a bluetooth
connection to the phone (ftp, pim sync) but cannot get the
serial connection to work. I am using PC Suite to
synchronize my address book. This works with my XP generic
computer. I am reading general issues with Dell and
bluetooth serial port matching but cannot find anything
specific as far as a solution. Any help would be appreciated.

You may get a better and quicker answer if you post your question on a
bluetooth newsgroup. That said, this site provided all the answers I needed
to get my bluetooth phone connected to XP.
