Why can't 2 computers with blutooth see each other. Neither one recognizes
the other as having PAN services installed. I am able to successfully connect
these in the blutooth devices yet when trying to connect them through the
Personal Area Network it doesn't see the connection as having PAN. I.E. the
window is blank and running a search says none are found. Both systems are
set to allow connections. Note: These were both connected previously through
Windows XP and worked fine. Also both do have the same workgroup name.

Okay, I think I figured this out. Apparently with Windows Vista I am no
longer allowed to connect to 2 devices simultaneously. In Windows XP I could
connect to the internet using my broadband phone with bluetooth and at the
same time connect to another XP computer at home. Once I disconnected from
the internet and removed the bluetooth device connection for the phone I was
able to make the local network connection. Quite a pain since this means I
need to run back and forth from my pcs to my phone and back again to reset
the passkey every time I need to change from the internet to a local
connection and back.
