Hey guys, I have a bluetooth MX5000 logitech combo that came with a USB 2.0
Bluetooth 2.0 EDR dongle. I have tried installing SetPoint x64(logitech
software for the keyboard and mouse) but It always fails when trying to
re-connect my bluetooth devices. So, I gave up on Logitech's solution for
bluetooth and tried to just use Windows Vista drivers. Alright so I connected
my dongle and then Windows installs it as a Generic USB Hub and a USB Human
Interface Device..and it says its properly installed. However, when I go to
the device manager or to the control panel there is no bluetooth option or
icon anywhere. In the device manager it just blends in as a normal usb
device..no special bluetooth icon or anything. Even though nothing shows up,
my keyboard and mouse do work perfectly...but I really want to pair my
bluetooth headset and PDA to vista to test it out. Any help please!!!
Thanks alot
