bluetooth intellipoint mouse

Trying to install Bluetooth mouse on laptop that has
onboard bluetooth support. Can this be done without
using the microsoft bluetooth reciever that comes with
the mouse. How do you pair the mouse with the laptop. I
need to know the paskey to pair them
 
I wish I had an answer for you, but I'm having the same problem. I tried a Logitech Bluetooth mouse that came with a receiver and it didn't work. I was thinking of trying the Microsoft Intellimouse. Have you found a solution

It may be possible to use the MS BT mouse and/or keyboard with a laptop that
has onboard BT.
What it needs is the onboard BT to support the HID profile.
See if you can find out in the documentation or laptop manufacturer's
website.
