hi, i saw an article about a similar thing to me but no one has replied to
that. i was just wondering. i really need to get my photos off my phone onto
my computer and there is no software to do so. i need to connect it via
bluetooth. but i looked in help centre and they said to go into bluetooth in
control panel but i didnt see any labels of that. and when i clicked on the
link it didnt take me anywhere? do i have bluetooth? when i turn my phone on
bluetooth it picks up the connection but thats all. nothing happens.

Hi - I have the same problem - I go into Control Panel and click on "printers
and other hardware" and supposedly, you are then presented with a Bluetooth
option but none appears. I have XP with SP2.

Can anyone assist please?

Yes, this all works just fine as long as you have a bluetooth adapter
installed in your PC. From the sounds of things, you do not have this
device installed.

can i install one? the computer detects my phone when i turn bluetooth on i
just cant do anything about it

It usually requires a piece of go between software from the phone
manufacturer, check out the manufacturers web site and the cell phone
forums on the net for useful downloads....
