Hi there,

i have an IntelliExplorer Mouse for BT with the
corresponding MS BT Transceiver. I now tried to get a
BT101 Headset working with that one - and failed. The
problem is that i can t choose any services for the
headset - not even a "headset profile/service". Is there
even a small possibility to get this working?

Thx in advance.

I have the same Bluetooth transceiver, and mouse, and I
have recently tried to get a headset to work.
I got the same problem you are getting.

The answer to this is simple, you Won't get it working
with that transceiver, and software supplied.
You need a Bluetooth Transceiver that is Bluetooth v1.1
compliant.
The MS one, is NOT v1.1 compliant.

You need to buy a Bluetooth dongle that is v1.1 and make
sure it has the "Bluetooth For Windows (By Widcomm)"
AKA "BTW" software included, as that is the full featured
protocol stack for Bluetooth, which includes profiles for
Bluetooth LAN, HID's (Keyboard, mouse, etc), Headsets,
PIM's, etc, etc.

I installed BTW on my system, but it will not recognise
the MS Dongle.

Apparantly, if you use the BTW software and a non MS
dongle, then the Bluetooth keyboard and mouse SHOULD
still function ok. You may have to install the
IntelliPoint and IntelliType software again for the
individiual drivers tho.

Hope this helped.
