Bluetooth Dongle Issue

WinXP SP2 will not close (shutdown screen freezes, mouse freezes) if a
bluetooth dongle is left in a USB port. Have to hit hard reset button.

Else bluetooth runs great! Using a Motorola S9 stereo headset to listen
rather than speakers!

Easy solution is to pull out the dongle prior to shutdown. Any suggestions
to avoid that step??

Ae you using the Widcomm Bluetooth drivers / stack? Microsoft's SP2
Bluetooth drivers do not "seem" to provide any "audio" connections.

Check and update all / any Bluetooth drivers (that are not from
Microsoft.)

Apparently using

Broadcom 2045 Bluetooth 2.0 USB-UHE Device

Will attempt to upgrade driver...

Tried updating driver. Installation went OK, but device did not work due to
"License Error". Also, Windows still hung on shutdown as described in
first post.

Restored to prior driver point.

Any other suggestions?
