I am attempting to connect a mobile phone to my computer. On the Bluetooth
Devices icon in Control Panel I am unable to 'turn discovery on' (in options)
The message 'Settings not saved' appears detailing discoverability and
connection. Other devices ie printer connect without problem. Anyone help.

Go to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\. Delete the following key:
{e0cbf06c-cd8b-4647-bb8a-263b43f0f974}. Open Device Manager. (run
devmgmt.msc) Remove the Bluetooth radio listed here. Click Action, click Scan
for hardware changes. This should re-enumerate the Bluetooth adapter, using
the SP2 drivers.

Hello Mark
Problem whilst attempting to delete key. Message 'Cannot delete- error while
deleting key'. Can you help please?

Hello Mark
Just got around to trying the SubInACL tool. Ran it but still unable to
delete the key you suggested. Is there anything else I can do?

Regards

Uninstsall the bluetooth device in devmgmt.msc. After device manager has
removed it, try the reg edit

No luck with that move I'm afraid Mark.
