Hi:

I just purchased the MS Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard.
Prior to the purchase, I wasn't aware it came with it's
own transcever (as I also purchased a PC Card Bluetooth
transcever).

Will the MS Mouse/Keyboard work with other transcevers?
Any documentation on how to go about this? I have a HP
Bluetooth printer I want work in this mix as well (and
someday a PDA).

Conversly is there a list of supported devices the MS
transcever will work with and documentation on how to go
about this?

Thanks!
Dan

Hi Dan

There's a fairly comprehensive guide to Bluetooth, focusing on the MS
desktop, on Tom's Hardware site.

http://www.tomshardware.com/consumer/20030328/index.html

I believe the recommendation is to always use the MS transceiver.

During their tests they were able to successfully connect a Bluetooth
printer (HP as I recall) but had problems with a PDA - seems like the MS
Bluetooth drivers don't have a network ability. The update is supposed to
be included in a forthcoming update to the drivers, hopefully.

There are also some tips in guide on connecting other Bluetooth devices.

Hope that helps
Pete
