my admin user profile works great, but my users that i
set up all get a blue screen after logging in. For my
kids and my wife's account they can't access thier
desktops.

Thinking out load. There is a default profile installed
when W2K is installed. It is copied the first time a new
user logs onto the computer. This profile is then stored
in My Document and Settings folder under the new user's
name.
Suggested process to try: Log on as the admininstrator.
Right click my computer, select properties, user profiles
tab. Delete all the profiles that are causing problems.
You cannot delete ALL of them. The system will not allow
you to delete the last remaining profile. Now that you
have deleted the profiles, make sure the new users (wife
and kids) have a good logon account and password. Let
them log on anew and see if the system will recreate their
profile from the default profile. It should. They can
then modify it as desired and their modified profile will
replace the profile created for them when they first
logged on. milt

I've had this same problem for some time now and have been
unable to find any solution. I tried your suggestion but
it did not work unfortunaely. I think my default user
profile is messed up but am uncertain as to how to restore
it. I can log on as a new user but no GUI and no explorer
(access denied).
