After a raid corruption and rebuild I started blue
screening upon startup.
The error message given at that time was Innaccessable
Boot Device.
So, booted to CD-ROM, ran recovery console and did a
chkdsk and rebooted, it found the drive fine; started
boot, and then blue screened with the following error.
STOP: c000026c {Unable to Load Device Drive)
\SystemRoot\System32\drivers\EFS.SYS
Error Status was 0x0000034
So return to recovery console; expand the EFS.SYS file
and overwrite the old efs.sys file. Still get this error.
try to boot into safe mode and get the same error but for
a different device drive. RDPDR.SYS
Try the same thing, replaced the device driver and reboot.
Still blue screening on any bootup to the hard drive.
The only thing that changes is the driver. From EFS.SYS
or RDPDR.SYS
This is a duel Xeon server; with raid 5 (I20 Adaptec
controller) running Windows 2000 Small Business server.
