I would like to know what do I do when my computer keeps showing a blue
screen showing a message unbootable volume. My IT Tech said I might have to
reformat it or get a new harddrive, would anyone know what I can do.

thank you

Hi

Could you please post the exact error message and/or the Stop Code from the
BSOD?

Blue screen: the stop give you a small report of the error:
a) if you find a .sys or .dll file you have the cause of error.
b) if you see only a windows components (like ntoskrln, win32k.sys,
esbstor.sys, usbyhci.sys) only have to check the file DMP
c) if you see a thirds driver (need update)
note: if you not made change hardware the antivirus maybe is the cause. When
the screen mencioned ntfs.sys maybe need change the wire IDE by 80 threads
and no 40)
