Hi and ty in advance for any help you can give me. I just purchased my dell
computer 3 months ago and I am constantly getting a blue screen error message
at least 8 times a day and also, my computer restarts itself for no apparant
reason. Its a pretty long error message but to point out what seems to be the
important parts is this:
"A problem had been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent
damage to your computer RQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. IT then goes on and on and
then states: Technical Information: **STOP: OXOOOOOOOA(OXOOOOOO8O,
OXOOOOOOO2, OXOOOOOOO1, OX806BD94A) Beginning dump of physical memory.
Physical Memory complete. I have called Dell and their solution is to unplug
everything and replug it in and then problem solved...Ive given up on them. I
only know the computer basics. Ive done reformatting, system restores, scans,
everything..and nothing is working. Any suggestions? Thank you so much
everyone:)

given,restart-

That error message usually means a bad driver. Have you added any
hardware, any peripherals such as an older printer?

Hey and thanks for the responses:) No Malke, I havent installed any
hardware on my computer whatsoever. This computer is only about two
months old which makes it even more frustrating that I havent even
paid off the interest yet on this thing lol! Is there a way I could
tell if I have a bad driver or not? I'm trying to avoid calling Dell
again, as bad as that sounds, but they talk to me in circles and I
think theyre more lost than I am and it just gets me more frustrated.
I bought the best and most expensive warranty with this computer but
they keep saying that since I have "four green lights" on on the back
of my tower, that this means its not my hard drive so I'm not covered
under warranty for it so its out of their hands. This is just crazy:/
Thanks so much again for your help, its truly appreciated:)

The four lights on the back are there for a hardware check. I don't have
faith that Dell's support diagnostics are always right since I've had
quite a few clients where the motherboard, RAM, hard drive, and/or all
of the above were bad and the Dell diagnostics showed no problem. Since
you aren't particularly tech savvy - and that's OK! - you might want to
have a local computer professional take a look at the machine. I have
several clients who have paid me to do that and to deal with Dell tech
support for them since it can be far easier and quicker to have someone
who knows what they are looking for and talking about do this.

Good luck,

Malke
