blue screen when capturing

movie maker's capture device has been working perfectly for quite a while -
suddenly I got the dreaded blue screen - since the download is tied into SP2,
how do I reinstall the software to fix the problem?

If you want to reinstall it's reinstall SP2.
Have you made any other changes which might be causing it? Added apps,
codecs etc? Can you use system restore to go back to before you made the
change?
